CLOUD SOLUTIONS & INFRASTRUCTURE
The right home for
your business systems.
Run your applications on infrastructure that fits your business. We help you choose, migrate and manage hosted servers, cloud resources and on-site systems, with connectivity, protection and recovery considered together.
What is driving your next move?
Your servers are due for replacement
Compare a hardware refresh with hosted infrastructure. We assess your applications, capacity and support needs so you can plan the next stage with confidence.
Your business needs more flexibility
Support new locations, changing workloads or a growing team. We help work out what should move, what should stay and how people will reach the systems they need.
YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE OPTIONS
From individual servers
to a connected environment.
Start with the systems your business relies on. We can bring together the following services to build and manage an environment that fits your business.
Hosted servers & virtual data centres
Provide virtual servers with processing power, memory and storage matched to your workloads. We help size the environment, configure it and review capacity as application demands change.
Cloud & on-site systems working together
Plan a combination of hosted and existing infrastructure. We assess application dependencies, network connections and user access, then coordinate migration in stages that suit your operations.
Data centre colocation
Arrange space for your own server and network equipment in Australian data centres. We help assess rack space, power and connectivity, coordinate the move and define ongoing support responsibilities.
Cloud networking & managed firewalls
Connect locations and hosted systems using routing, VPNs and firewall services. We help configure access rules and protection around how your people and applications need to communicate.
Backup & disaster recovery
Add off-site backup and, where appropriate, replication of virtual machines for recovery. We can work with Veeam-based services and plan restore testing around the systems you need to recover first.
Server applications & licensing
Review the infrastructure and licensing needed for Windows Server, SQL workloads and remote access. We coordinate requirements with your application provider and help configure your environment.
ONGOING MANAGEMENT
A clear team to turn to
after the move.
Infrastructure needs attention after it is deployed. Supportdesk can manage maintenance, configuration changes and support, or work alongside your internal IT team.
Keep the environment maintained
Coordinate server updates, review resource use and investigate performance or access issues as part of your support plan.
Manage change as you grow
Adjust virtual resources, update network rules and plan application or infrastructure changes with the people responsible for your systems.
Keep recovery practical
Review backup jobs, retention and recovery priorities. Plan restore tests, escalation contacts and the steps to follow when a system needs to be recovered.
A PLANNED TRANSITION
Understand. Prepare. Move with a plan.
01
Review what you have
Map applications, data, users, connections and current issues. Identify business priorities and any requirements for data location or access.
02
Design & prepare
Compare hosting options, plan resources and responsibilities, and prepare migration, backup and rollback steps.
03
Migrate & support
Coordinate the changeover, test application access and help users reconnect. Document the environment and put ongoing support in place.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you make a change.
Do we have to move everything to the cloud?
No. Some applications may suit hosted infrastructure while others remain on-site. We assess compatibility, connectivity and business requirements before recommending what to move.
Can you host equipment we already own?
Colocation may be an option. We review your equipment, power and connectivity needs, confirm data centre availability and coordinate physical work and ongoing management.
Are backup and recovery included with hosting?
We define them explicitly as part of your solution. Hosting, backups and recovery arrangements serve different needs. We plan what is protected, retention, testing and recovery priorities before implementation.
What should we bring to an initial discussion?
A list of your main applications, current servers or hosting services, approximate user numbers and any upcoming renewal or replacement dates is a useful start.
